Evaluation

My client for this project was Conor Blake who's profession is a puppeteer, so i made him a website so he can possibly pursue a career and this will hopefully be a big help into doing that.

I made the website on a site called wix.com which gives you lots of options to how you want to layout or design your website. I will definitely use this website for future projects.

On my idea page i talked about what i was going to do for my website and who i was going to get to be my client.

On my production page i explained each page of my website and the purpose of the certain colours,texts and layouts that were used. My client Conor said he was very happy with the website and gave me a review. I did do two other practise websites which he wasn't fond of, he wasn't happy with the colours and he thought they looked to serious and he wanted it it to look a bit bright and fun as well so he gave me some other puppeteers websites to give me an idea of what he wanted.

On my planning page I added the things i was going to ask at the meeting with my client which went very well, I managed to get a lot of information of what he wanted, we also arranged dates for shooting videos and taking pictures of his puppets. I put the other two website idea's i had and explained why my client didn't like them. My location recce and risk assessment was also on my planning page. I will know for future projects to always meet up with my client since it was a big help into the finished product.

On my research page I compared two websites and talked about why this website was better than the other and i pointed out the good and bad things of the websites. My client gave me some websites to look at which I put on my research page and talked about the idea's i got from them. For future projects i will research examples since it was helpful to knowing what he wanted.

Overall the project went very well and my client was happy with the final product.

If I compare Conor's website to Matt Vogel there isn't really any difference between them apart from that Matt Vogel has all the professional stuff he has done, unfortunately Conor hasn't done anything professional in puppetry so i was unable to write about that. Matt Vogel's website is quite bright and joyful but still professional and this is what Conor also wanted. Conor did also tell me some puppeteer's websites to look at, Matt Vogel being one of them in particular. Matt Vogel's website is more of what he has done and what he is going to do whereas Conor's shows what he is capable of doing in puppetry.
